All text should be double-spaced to allow room for comments. The details regarding the aims and objectives of the report must be thoroughly discussed in the introduction.

What is Knowledge Champ?

It should summarize your overall impressions of the book and bring the report to a close. How do your results relate to your experimental objective s? If the person copied from is a fellow student, then this offence is known as collusion and is equally serious.

Your challenge is to present the important and relevant information in two pages. Do any of your results have particular technical or theoretical interest? Do not try to get graphics finalised until the text content is complete.

APA Writing Format

Reports are divided into sections with headings and subheadings. If a reference has not been actually consulted, it should be listed "as discussed in [name of the work that discussed the reference]".

Avoid appendices unless there is a specific reason for them. Do not go into a lot of details unless it is needed. A finishing touch that can make a great impression on the reader is how you package the report. How do your results compare to those obtained in similar investigations?

You may also see formal reports. An excellent way to improve style and grammar is to have others proofread the report. It may also be used to issue group thanks or acknowledgement, issue a reminder or provide an update on a project of event.

Two useful tips; Do not bother with style and formatting of a document until the penultimate or final draft. Many people may read, and refer to, a report summary but only a few may read the full report, as often happens in a professional organisation.
